David Marr
David is a very experienced broadcaster, author and journalist who stepped into the very big shoes of Philip Adams, who had made the show very much his own over many years, delivering a program filled with stimulating and engaging interviews. David has brought his own personal warmth and humour to the show. His great depth of knowledge and reading makes for excellent radio.
David will be in attendance at the Spring Dinner to accept his award.

The Piano
This program tugs at the heartstrings, with its background stories and the quality of the music from the performers. It’s one of the most beautiful series the ABC has produced, capturing genuine moments of connection and surprise through music.
We’ll also celebrate the 50th anniversary of ABC Friends with the launch of the ABC Friends 50 Year Anniversary Digital Historical Timeline. ABC Friends historian Dr Jennifer Bowen will give a brief keynote address.
It should be a very interesting, informative and entertaining event.
