On 31 May and 1 June, ABC Friends QLD handed out bookmarks and chatted about all things ABC with visitors to the Brisbane Writers Festival, a four day event held at the State Library of Queensland.

ABC Friends QLD also sponsored a session at the Festival, which included a wide range of authors and presenters, including many seen and heard on ABC radio and television.

Volunteers were thrilled with the positive response to the bookmarks and interaction with festival goers and ABC Friends QLD is now hoping to make this an annual event.
